Taree Craft Centre is a not-for-profit organisation which promotes local craft people and their handmade crafts. We display and sell a diverse range of quality items handcrafted by our talented members.
We also provide a social gathering place for members and others interested in craft activities. We are located in Taree on the Mid-North Coast of NSW
We welcome new members who have an interest in learning new crafts and maintaining traditional ones too.

This lovely historical building provides the perfect setting to showcase the craft of the Manning Valley. This is the ideal place to shop for that perfect gift for any occasion.
There are also 2 large classrooms where regular classes in craft work are held. From time to time we also have exhibitions and open days for the public to see crafts being demonstrated.
At the front of the building is our Cafe serving morning and afternoon teas, light lunches and High Teas. Eat in or takeaway. We offer a varied menu including, cakes, scones, sandwiches, quiches, salads, burgers. Freshly ground espresso coffee or a pot of tea adds to the experience.
Our large classrooms at the Heritage Cottage accommodate ongoing classes in patchwork quilting, knitting, crochet, tatting, scrap booking, and other crafts depending on demand. There may also be vacancies in the many self help groups who meet regularly in our rooms. These include lace makers, patch workers, a photography group, as well as our Craft and Chatter Social group for all members. When we have enough interest we are happy to add more classes and groups to our Centre. All our groups welcome enquiries from new members.
