Taree Craft Centre has group activities where members and the public can come along to meet up and work on the craft they like to do, sharing ideas and supporting each other.
"CRAFT N CHATTER"
This is a social group for members and non-members who meet at the Craft Cottage each Friday (except the 3rd Friday) to enjoy each other’s company over a cuppa, with lots of chatting and laughter. Bring along some craft to work on, and if you have a project you are struggling with, this is the group who will do their best to assist you. Come at 10 am and stay a couple of hours, or bring your lunch and stay until 2 pm. Cost is $3 which includes tea or coffee and cake. All welcome.

BOBBIN LACE MAKERS
This enthusiastic group of ladies meet at the Craft Cottage every Monday morning from 9.30 am to 12 noon.They practice their beautifully intricate craft of Lace Making using small wooden bobbins and lots of pins.

PARTNERS IN ART
This group brings together budding artists to practice painting in a variety of styles and medium in a friendly and sharing environment. Usually held on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 10 am to 3 pm, but sometimes more often. Call Judy Tetley on 02 6556 7402 for more information
Our class rooms are well set up to accommodate patchworkers and several self-help groups meet each week to share their skills and practice new techniques. There are Wednesday and Thursday day groups and evening groups which meet on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
